Press Release on Samdech Techo HUN SEN To Preside Over the Signing Ceremony of Japan's Grant Aid and Loan Projects

On  30 March 2015, at 09:00 a.m, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will preside over the signing ceremony between His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister HOR Namhong, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and His Excellency Mr. Yuji KUMAMARU, Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Cambodia for the Exchange of Notes and Records of Discussions on the Grant Aid and the Loan projects as the following:

I- The three Grant Aid projects with the amount of Four Billion Two Hundred and Ninety One Million Yen (¥ 4,291,000,000) are:

  1. The project for Improvement of Svay Rieng Provincial Referral Hospital, with the amount of One Billion and Seventy Seven Million Yen (¥ 1,077,000,000); 
  2. The project for Development of Traffic Management System in Phnom Penh, with the amount of One Billion and Seven Hundred Twenty Seven Thousand Million Yen (¥ 1,727,000,000); 
  3. The project for Construction and Rehabilitation of small Hydropower Plants in Rattanakiri Province, from the amount of One Billion and Two Hundred and Six Million Yen (¥ 1,206,000,000), up to the amount of One Billion and Four Hundred Eighty Seven Million Yen (¥ 1,487,000,000).
II- The two Loan projects with the amount of Twenty Three Billion and Twenty Four Million Yen (¥ 23,024,000,000) are: 
  1. The Phnom Penh City Transmission and Distribution System Expansion project phase 2 with the amount of Three Billion Eight Hundred and Sixteen Million Yen (¥ 3,816,000,000);
  2. The National Road No. 5 Improvement project “Thlea Ma’am-Battambang and Sri Sophorn-Project Section”, with the amount of Nineteen Billion Two Hundred and Eight Million Yen (¥ 19,208,000,000).
